Mattie Elkin is a Junior Digital Media and Design major specializing in applying web design, graphic design, photography, and visual communication to business problems. After college, she plans to work in Digital Marketing Strategies to help companies communicate their purpose and create brands that resonate with their audiences. Mattie is a former member of the Innovation Learning Community and is passionate about the Innovation Zone mission to inspire and encourage collaboration and creativity in the maker space and beyond. Her motto, “Make Every Obstacle an Opportunity”, highlights her desire to work together as a community to figure things out – to learn collectively from each other to build better than we could build alone. Her specialties include web design, graphic design, painting, drawing, vinyl work, and laser engraving.
